Style In The Sky

Giancarlo Giametti was born and raised in Rome. At the age of 22 he met and partnered professionally with Valentio Garavani, the very famous fashion designer. The two together made one of the most iconic fashion brands in the world. In 2008 both partners retired from the company. For Giametti's New York home, he had designer Jacques Grange help create his art filled home. Giametti talks for some time in his interview with AD about his new memoir called Private which shows photographs of some of his earlier years at parties at places like Studio 54 and more.  He also discusses the earlier years of his business and his dinner parties with people like Jackie Kennedy, and Andy Warhol. The book also includes some of his detailed interior spaces done by Renzo Mongiardino. The Manhattan apartment holds beautiful floor to ceiling views which help the home owner with his love for darker interiors and furnishings without it being to dark in the space.
